Delete Your Account

You can delete your Cosyra account at any time. This page explains how to delete your account and what happens to your data afterward.
Account deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered. Please make sure you have exported or backed up anything you need before proceeding.
1. How to Delete Your Account
From the Cosyra App
The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the app:

Open Account Settings
Tap your profile icon, then go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. -
Confirm Your Identity
You will be asked to re-authenticate by signing in again. This ensures only you can delete your account. -
Final Confirmation
Enter the one-time verification code sent to your email, then type DELETE to confirm. Your account will be permanently deleted.
Can't Access the App?
If you are unable to delete your account through the app, you can request deletion by emailing us:
Send an email to hello@portablesoftware.co from the email address associated with your Cosyra account. Include the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.
2. What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the following data from our systems:

3. What Is Not Deleted
Certain data may be retained after account deletion for legal, security, or operational reasons:
- Anonymized analytics — Aggregated, non-identifiable usage data that has already been processed cannot be traced back to you and is retained for product improvement.
- Transaction records — Purchase and subscription history may be retained as required by financial regulations and payment processors (Apple, Google, RevenueCat).
- Legal and compliance records — Data required to comply with applicable laws, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements may be retained for up to 3 years.
4. Subscriptions
Deleting your Cosyra account does not automatically cancel your subscription. To avoid further charges:
- Apple App Store: Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone and cancel the Cosyra subscription.
- Google Play Store: Go to Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions and cancel the Cosyra subscription.
Please cancel your subscription before deleting your account to ensure you are not charged for the next billing cycle.
